We have produced a selection of free downloads for the public, all of which you are welcome to use whether you are an individual or a company or organisation.
In addition, we are publishing our proposed documents for a regulatory framework for the funeral sector that have been written in the public interest.
We welcome all funeral directors to download and adopt these framework documents while we await statutory regulation in England and Wales.
Regulation of the funeral sector
Working with a small group of some of our superb Recommended Funeral Directors, the Good Funeral Guide CIC has produced a suite of draft documents that we believe should form the basis for regulation of the funeral sector.
Based on the mandatory ‘Funeral Director Code of Practice’ now implemented in Scotland, we have written these new documents in the public interest, with easily understood language and straightforward guidance.
We have presented our suggested regulatory documents to various MPs and government departments, and as of July 2026 we are still waiting to hear whether they will be taken into account when the government move on regulating funerals in England and Wales.

My Funeral Wishes
An A4 document that you can use to outline your wishes about your own future funeral.
While not legally binding, this document will help your family or the Executor of your Will follow your wishes when making arrangements after your death.
