Are you coming to the National Funeral Exhibition?

The NFE is the biggest and best business-boosting/networking/nattering event in Funeralworld and we are delighted to have been invited. To mark the occasion we are presently decanting the GFG-Batesville Shard, packing the wretched, zit-face interns into charabancs, and looking forward to spending the next three days sampling the delights, delighting in the sights and feasting on chat with all and sundry.

If you’re undecided, make up your mind to come. You don’t want to spend the next 2 years feeling like the person in the pic above. Simply present yourself at the desk, flash your business card and they’ll bung you a badge.

Meeting up can be touch and go, such is the throng. So, if you’d like to catch us, we shall be taking tea and cake in the Stroller Restaurant between 3 and 4 on each day.

Call us on 07557 684 515

We hope to see you there!

Good luck to all those who go. Personally I can’t think of anything worse than the NFE.

Come, come Andrew, (please?) There’s always new gear on show – stuff to make the FD’s life a little easier, or to improve the way we do things. I always learn something – and the gossip is often worth the journey on its own 🙂

I also enjoy the car park – FD’s have such flash cars! Rolls, Bentley, Jaguar, Mercedes, Porsche. Even the odd helicopter.

I plan t arrive mid-morning but have usually seen enough by mid afternoon so sadly Charles, may miss your debut! And the tea n cake.

I went last time, the rain spoilt it a bit, but this year it might be too hot!!
Jon Parkes my Manager is going this year. Hope he and everyone else enjoys it. You need a machete (metaphorically speaking) to cut through the vast amount of novelty items on offer, but after that you can come away with some good ideas and sift it all down to something beneficial to your business.

I’m with andrew. A day looking at stuff you get info posted to you about every week – or a lovely sunny day spent with my beautiful wife. Not too difficult a choice really! Basically it’s a networking day for people with tat to peddle – there’s a reason it’s free to get in!!

Well, each to their own. I went and had a great day catching up with all manner of old friends, some of whom I hadn’t seen for years. Plus there was the pleasure of meeting a few really interesting people for the first time. BUT, if you go via Birmingham International beware the highly erratic so called half-hourly coach. Three of us waited for 90 minutes and were then forced to take a black cab.
