What do you want them to talk about?

How much emphasis in your funeral do you want to be on a celebration of your past life, and how much on a future life beyond death?

I still think the issue is the mixing up of three (possibly four) different events (she says stubbornly). This is the point Richard makes in his most recent post surely?

Perhaps it is that we as a society just do not allocate enough time?

Specific/generic works for me, Kathryn, as does, physical/abstract, but so too does past/future. Voting question pulled from the context of a longer piece but we didn’t think to imbed it there at the time!

Richard, I’m not sure that past/future is the essence of the tension you’re talking about. Isn’t it more specific/generic?
