Interesting link James – watched it all – and like Phoebe started off thinking yeah right can get all that from heroin or LSD… I wondered about his background – academic, religious, musical inputs, education etc and what informed the place he had created – or … found himself in. When he mentioned being adopted and his birth sister it was incredibly moving, he found a great peace that’s for sure. It puts me in mind of Julian of Norwich and her NDE 600 years ago – all shall be well and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well. I think we have NO CLUE about brain, consciousness, mind, meditation, or pre and post life, never mind the bit in between! The struggle between the desire to stay alive and the mystery and attraction of being dead remains.
Thanks for the link James, very interesting. It’s all a bit ambiguous still (for me), has he actually experienced another world/dimension/heaven etc. or was he just incredibly high…will we ever know? The sister part has stumped me though! I guess the more medical and spiritual research that is dedicated to NDEs, the more we will understand about it. Other stories of outer body experiences are also very interesting, for example, watching yourself be operated on and running through the whole procedure with the medical staff afterwards.
The doctor knows!
I don’t know what to think after watching it, but how about this to rock your boat?
