Robin’s wife, Dwina (in the words of the Daily Mail, “bisexual Dwina, 59”), let it be known that the presence of Robin’s housekeeper-lover, Claire Yang, with whom he had a ‘love child’, Snow Robi, would be unwelcome. Claire stayed away.

Sadly this kind of situation is now almost commonplace at funerals. People being asked not to come who were a significant part of the deceased’s life seems wrong to me. It’s not about the ‘main mourner’ it should be about the person we gather to say goodbye to.
In recent years I have even had outbursts during services or shortly afterwards. It may be a coincidence – but it’s always women angry with women!
