I know – isn’t she great? I’m still pondering that line – ‘hope is a thief’…
She doesn’t appear brave to me at all, James; she has no fear to be brave about. She has held others who are dying, she has no illusions that she will always be in this world. She simply accepts the obvious fact that, like you and me, she could die today. It probably makes it easier for her, if anything, to know that this is quite likely.
But I agree she’s inspiring, and she should be in a school, teaching a class.
