The late Tony Banks of John Major. An old quote, but one well capable of being dusted off.

That reminds me: ‘My mother-in-law, if she was a pest controller, the mice would throw themselves on the traps’

“I don’t know why the wife thinks I’ve got a down on her mother. I ask her round to ours every Christmas day. Next year, I might let her in.”

And Banks thinks Major was unpopular; how about Blair, with his £12M per annum income and his £0.3M tax payments? Very topical example of shameless greed and legal fiddling, I’d have thought.
