Heartily agree. 1986 Cropredy alum, have wanted this song as my memorial service song since forever and am now of an age when that day is more likely to come sooner rather than later. My late wife knew my wish. The 7th Fairport Convention Reunion Festival was our honeymoon trip. She sadly passed away about 10 years ago after 26 years of marriage. Her chosen memorial service song was Fields of Gold. Our daughter is aware of my wishes as is my present wife of 8 years.
