Funeral Director/s: John Hall (50s). Friendly, natural, down to earth. Loves what he does. The sort who’ll do anything for you but who’s never all over you. Very nice man, very good listener, determined to get it right for you, determined that you should do things your way. Huge believer in openness. Talks you through your choices and always leaves you in charge. He’s a breath of fresh air, especially in this area where most funeral directors like to do things their way (the same old same old). The great belief here is that a funeral must celebrate the life.
Specific Gravity: Any colour so long as it’s not black. And that includes black if that’s what you want! John’s team will dress as you want and do what you want from a trad funeral with all the trappings through to something less formal and highly personal. John will run the show or take a back seat on the day. Can offer you a black or white hearse—or anything else you like.
What’s important? Colour My Funeral sets out to do things differently. Where other funeral directors can have a suffocating effect on funeral arrangements, John has a liberating effect. Why, he asks, do we live in the 21st century but die in the 19th? Very keen to move things on and offer you the full range of choices available to you. He’ll spend as much time as you need and ungrudgingly go the extra mile. No mystery about charges here. Prices are transparently fair and conspicuously lower than other funeral homes hereabouts. This has no effect on quality. Forget-me-not funeral for £950+disbursements. Sky's the limit.

Fantastic coffin range—easily the best in the area. Same sex FD to lay out the body if you wish. Excellent website and brochure.
Remarks: This is a young business full of energy and new ideas. Extremely well spoken of by those who have used it. They praise, especially, the many personal touches John and his team bring. Is Colour My Funeral so very different? Well, it’s possibly a risky name for a funeral home but don’t let that put you off. It simply sets out to offer unrivalled service at transparently fair prices to everyone in the Birmingham area and further afield. These people level with you. A breath of fresh air indeed.

just 2 let u know i rang up colour my funeral today just for some prices i must say the lady who answered my call made me feel at ease and was very helpful and is sending me out some leaflets it is a very difficult time especially coping with my moms terminal illness i have spoke to other funeral directors who was quite rude and abrupt i will be hopefully using your service as the lady i spoke to was very kind well done in treating people with respect i would recommend this company in the future very polite and helpful unlike some i have spoke to

Met Amy for the first time to discuss my godmother’s funeralnext week. She was suberb; very friendly and efficient and knew exactly what I wanted. Fantastic company and would recommend to anyone.

Amy was totally brilliant. First class efficiency and would recomend to anyone in the Birmingham area. Not only that but was aproximately £800 cheper than anyone else in the area.
