“I just love the work. Much of it isn’t anything to do with being at the cutting edge of any ‘new’ movement, but about listening to people, giving them attention and valuing a person’s life that I am told was just ordinary.”

Sue Goodrum, celebrant.

Absolutely Sue. The extraordinary privilege of being granted access to people’s lives is humbling and nourishing. We are not a plague upon the earth, we are the most interesting thing on it. Maybe a few too many, but that’s a different topic altogether.

Since starting this work, I have truly understood the truth that there is no such thing as an ordinary person; humbling, as Ru says, and rewarding.
