Sky News said they dated back to the middle-ages…not very exact but pretty old nonetheless. I hadn’t heard of this practice before so found it pretty intriguing. I had guessed it was old news judging by Charles’s caption!
There have been a few documentaries recently about this sort of thing. They are usually quite sensationalist, which is quite annoying given that there are far more interesting things the programme could be focussing on than whether the person had long teeth or not!
