Why (oh why) has no one developed a waterproof teddy bear for child graves? Can’t be rocket science, surely?  Come on, you budding entrepreneurs!

If it was waterproof it wouldn’t be so soft and cuddly.
I saw a grave in North Yorkshire that had soft toys under bell jars!

Some Councils think any grave adornment is wrong

Nothing lives forever, except our memories, which, (despite serial celebrant exhortation to the contarary) live only as long as our memories. Indestructible crib toys rank alongside plastic flowers as an undeniably sad, but somehow placebo accessory for a grave.
Better to face death’s horror with an elegant headstone which weathers in a dignified march to eventual decay.
