Some of the GFG’s favourite and most admired people were in action yesterday. Clare and Michelle, who are Volkswagen Funerals, brought Lorna Grant to Cheltenham crematorium with their customary love and care in a Glastonbury themed funeral. Look, even the conducting funeral director is wearing his wellies.

Thank you Charles for blogging about this funeral. I had promised this lady (via her sister) that I would do her funeral as she was terminally ill and didn’t want a sombre ‘do’. Her sister, family (and Michael Gamble FD’s) did her proud in achieving one of the most inspiring and memorable funerals I have ever been privileged to be a part of. The mourners came out of chapel to 100 pink helium balloons that were tied to the railings by Michael Gamble Fd’s team and us of course.
