Pictured, Rupert and Claire Callender of the Green Funeral Company, superheroes to all here at GFG Mission Control. There’s a series of 11 pics of them here. So that’s what they look like! (Your viewing experience may be marred a little by Parky flogging funeral plans in the sidebar.)

Rupert, Claire and their working environment, look as ‘real’ and, may I say, cool, as the great work they do. I admire you deeply.
I’m off to clear out the shed and put my desk in it before the Other Half gets home…

If you want to see another brilliant and inspiring shed, have a look at Sue Brayne’s. Sue is the author of The D-Word: Talking About Dying, and a tremendously nice person. She has done a lot of work with Peter Fenwick, another GFG Superhero.

Buy her book. See the shed: http://psychlotherapist.com/?archives-list=1

Sue’s website is: http://suebrayne.co.uk/

Spooky – I’m half way through Sue’s book as we speak. It is brilliant. Thanks for the links Charles. You’re our Superhero!

How marvellous to see them in their natural habitat. They are an invaluable source of wisdom and information (I do hope this is embarassing them thoroughly, they deserve it…)in this difficult work, and they have been part of my funereal coming of age, as it were. Pity I am located so far from them, what fun it would be to roll through the door with a bottle of Limestone Coast Shiraz and argue some stuff through with such enlightened and well-informed people.

OK, enough already, I can’t move round here for the capes, tights and masks.

Thanks Charles.

Thoroughly embarrassed. Thank you all. Always up for anyone rolling through the door with a bottle of anything. A familarity with this blog and it’s siblings is all the introduction you need bring.
