Tending of graves is a very difficult one, we point out our aims for the burial ground before each burial as best we can given peoples emotional states at the time.
After the burial we find flexibility comes into play, some want to "tend" the graves whereas others let nature take it's course, most tenders become less so as time passes and healing of their loss proceeds, sometimes we have to point out certain things are not appropriate and our comments and reasons have so far been taken on board, as a back up we do have a "rules" sheet but have so far never needed it.
